The Sales & Marketing Assistant provides administrative support to sales and marketing staff. Prepares analysis and market reports for sales and marketing staff and management. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES - Prepares market analyses evaluating new market potential. Produces reports that include: weekly mgmt report and flash figures, monthly budget analysis, monthly sales activity reports, and tracking and storing monthly systems production reports. - Analyzes market information and prepares reports and rate analysis for management and the sales staff. - Provides assistance to the sales and marketing staff, when necessary, with any phase of their sales and marketing efforts. May assist with enrollment meetings and benefit fairs, and the installation and renewal process for new and existing accounts. - Prepares quote requests to underwriting including census summary, zip code analysis and plan design. - Prepares network evaluations, radius access modules, disruption analysis. - Generates and packages proposals and supporting information for presentations by sales/service team. - Generates, interprets and summarizes employer group reporting packages. - Prepares packets, enrollment materials, and facilitates open enrollments. - Answers and responds to requests and inquiries from enrolled groups and brokers. Assists with telephone coverage. - Performs other duties as required. JOB SPECIFICATIONS - Associate's degree or equivalent experience. Bachelor's degree preferred. - Strong customer service skills required to communicate effectively with all levels of management internal/external. - Initiative and analytical ability to research and prepare reports. - Word-processing speed of 55-65 wpm when appropriate. - Proficient with software used by the department.
