About The Cotillion

Located in Wichita, KS, The Cotillion is a special events facility that hosts concerts, dances, comedians and stage shows, featuring nationally known artists and performers. Check out our events for upcoming Wichita concerts.

Built in 1960, the 28,500 square foot building has a maximum concert capacity of 2000 persons.

The unique circular design of the building has large wooden beams supporting a 24 foot high domed ceiling over an 11,000 square foot floating hardwood maple dance floor and a stage that features a distinctive neon lit band shell.

A full service bar and concession stands are open for events.

The Cotillion is available to rent for concerts, dances, banquets, corporate events, wedding receptions, trade shows and private parties. Rental of the facility includes setup, cleanup and staffing. For rental rates and additional information please contact Richard Leslie at (316) 722-4201.

We've recently extended our hours to better serve our customers!  The Box Office is now open Monday thru Saturday from 8am until 6pm. (We're also open late, usually until 10pm, on nights that we have concerts!) Tickets to events available The Cotillion, 316-722-4201, and the employee clubs.

Wichita’s “Round Mound of Sound” opened in 1960, attracting the most historically important American musicians such as Louis Armstrong, Duke Ellington, the Everly Brothers, Willie Nelson, Muddy Waters and B.B. King. Throughout the years Wichita’s favorite ballroom has put on shows of all varieties, and currently books everything from comedy to country and metal.
