About Thunder Hockey

The Wichita Thunder is Wichita Kansas' pro hockey team, playing in the Central Hockey League (CHL) since 1992. The Thunder play home games in downtown Wichita's 15,000 seat Intrust Bank Arena. The Thunder's head coach, Kevin McClelland was member of the Edmonton Oilers’ dynasty in the 1980’s.
The Thunder have more than 30 home games each season. Great fun for sports fans, families, groups or anyone looking for a great action-packed night out!
